E-commerce

By definition E-commerce is the buying and selling of products and services by businesses and consumers through an electronic medium, with paperless transactions. E-commerce is widely considered the buying and selling of products over the internet, but any transaction that is completed solely through electronic measures can be considered e-commerce. Sounds simple enough, but as we all know it is not.

E-commerce is subdivided into three categories; business to business or B2B, business to consumer or B2C, and consumer to consumer or C2C. The future of all three is very bright as new technologies continue to expand globally. As technology spreads globally, regions that didn’t have internet access before will. More businesses and end consumers on the internet means more e-commerce activity. E-commerce is predicted to double between 2016 and 2020. How does your company take advantage of this future outlook? By identifying and implementing an E-commerce strategy. By finding the right people with end to end e-commerce experience in business and technology to work with you to optimize your business.
